Customisable wooden tables for every home or office

There are a few factors to consider when choosing the ideal wooden table for your living room, office or other areas. This includes:

Durability - Durability is typically affected by the type of wood used to craft the table. Hardwoods like African mahogany, angsana and rain tree are likely to last longer than softwood options like pine. However, the latter may maintain its durability if it is well taken care of.

Size - Homes in Singapore may have limited size capacities, thus it is good to measure your available space before making a purchase. At Timber Actually, you can customise and choose the best length and width for your wood study table or dining table tops.

Style - Solid wood comes in a range of textures, grains and colours. Compare these against the current furniture and features of your room to craft an aesthetic you will love. For example, you can pair wooden dining tables, chairs and shelving units made with the same type of wood to create a cohesive look.

Ease of Maintenance - To create a pristine and inviting space for everyone to enjoy, tasks like removing dirt and cleaning a sticky table should be a seamless process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the tables that are available for selection single piece solid wood or joint pieces?

The customised size selection available are all in joint pieces as we build these tables from smaller planks to the size required.

I want a single piece solid wood. Can I have that with the size I want?

Single pieces of solid wood are rare to come by and might be available from time to time. Whatsapp our friendly assistant to find out if there's any stock available!

Are there any cost differences between the ones I selected between joint pieces and single pieces?

Single pieces generally range between 20-30% more expensive than the joint pieces you have selected on the website. This is just a guide, but it also depends on the availability and the wastage from each piece that we will cut from.

I have my own preference for the edge profiles of the tables. Can you do it?

The standard edge profile for all tables will be a 5mm radius round so that it is comfortable for users to rest their hands on.

However, if you do have a profile that you wish to have, do send us a sketch via WhatsApp at 8482 3346 to enquire more about the additional cost for these profiles.

What is the height of the tables?

The standard finishing height of the metal/wooden frames is 700mm and the finishing height depends on the final thickness of the solid wood top that is chosen (either 30, 40, or 50mm).

Can you customise it to the height I want?

Customisation of height is possible but with a longer lead time and slightly higher cost.

I don't really like the standard U-shape metal legs that you have. Do you have other designs?

We do not stock any other designs at the moment. However, if you have any metal legs design in mind, don’t hesitate to send us a sketch of it for customization works!

Do I have to apply oil on them regularly for maintenance?

For high-traffic areas, regular maintenance is recommended to be between 4-6 months. For it to last longer, owners may also wish to oil it more regularly.

Where do I purchase the oil required for maintenance?

You can purchase it from our online store. 20ml is good enough for a surface of 1.5m x 1m
