Timber Actually.

We supply wood – mostly from Singapore trees - to residents in Singapore. Yes, you read that right. We supply wood to residents in Singapore. Our customers are hobbyists, DIY-ers, wood workers, wood enthusiasts, homeowners, restaurants, cafes and many more. What all of us have in common is that we want to be part of the whole eco system. Processing and using as much as we possibly can from our local trees. Upcycling from trees that are felled due to various reason such as development, we have found our reason to be here.

We gather logs.

You surely must have noticed that there are lots of trees here in Singapore. What you probably do not realized is that, along the roads of Singapore are some of the trees that give us premium furniture grade wood. Trees such as the African Mahogany can be found along the roads of Singapore. It is not anyone’s fault, especially not the trees, that they are felled. We must make way for urban development, building new homes to keep our family safe, expanding our roads to make them safer. Sometimes, the trees themselves are becoming dangerous for us. We will gather all these fallen logs  and bring them to our yard.

We process the logs

The logs are put through several processes before they are ready to be transformed. They logs will be cut to regular plank sizes. After which, they will be subjected to drying inside our in-house kiln. This is to reduce the moisture content of the wood.  Kiln drying is a standard practice in wood production mills and serves to efficiently bring the green lumber moisture levels down to "workable" moisture content levels that will not end in the myriad of problems that can be caused by excess moisture in the wood. These problems include warping and twisting.
